The resolution can be found in this thread: вЂ¦ 03336.html It comes down to recompiling qemu with the patch applied and I've confirmed that the issue with the microphone input delay has been resolved. I've done a bit of research on this, and it's not for the feint of heart, but there is a patch for qemu floating out there that explicitly solves this issue.
